It just Opens Up For You!
What a wonderful time to visit Anguilla. We arrive October 29th for a visit and we knew everything was closed! And we also know that everything opens up November 1st and everyone is ready to please.
We also bonused on this trip as the much delayed Greg Norman Golf Course at Temenos finally opened for a round of play. Everyone was here. Heard rumors of Tiger Woods but did not see him. Many visitors we in for the tournament and many were being encouraged to buy the "modified timeshare" villas.
We did see Greg tee off and we had some fun. We learned a new area of the Island.
The East End
Like many who visit Anguilla we traveled to the East Side up towards Rose Hill, but we never really knew there was an East End. We had been to Savannah Bay and the little Beach Bar, but we had never been to Mimi's Bay or Sile Bay. This time we stayed in the East End and what a treat.
The Breezy Windsong
Frank, the owner of Savannah Galleries has his own home and a smaller villa on his property in Sile Bay. The Breezy Windsong is a nice place to stay for couples. We recommend it highly. Search Google for Breezy Windsong Anguilla or Savannah Galleries Anguilla and you will see websites from which you can make contact.
It makes for a wonder starts to the day, and it is a nice place to walk around in the evenings. The drive to Shoal Bay is easy and quick.
We really did not do anything new on this trip, we just ate at Elodia's a bunch and went to Oliver's per usual.
Stay in the East End for a new perspective.
